           Explore northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina aka the Una-Sana Canton

           Cycle through the Una National Park, the largest national park in
    Bosnia and Herzegovina containing stunning waterfalls

           Cycle, walk and swim in the lake off the beaten path on the Šator
    mountain, complete with a gorgeous view

           Be amazed by picturesque towns and untouched natural vistas

    Note: The Šator mountain (1872 m or 6140 ft) is a mountain located in
    northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina with a lake in the center.

    KEY INFORMATION:

    • 7 stay-ins (3 stay-ins in hotels, 4 stay-ins in a hostel or wellness center)
    • 6 days or cycling with full automobile support
    • Moderate cycling tempo, 8-10 mph (13-16 km/h) 70% asphalt, 30% picturesque paths
    • 6-15 person group, plus cycling leader and driver. Minimum age of participants is 16 years old

    The adventure starts in the afternoon in Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following the main briefing with your guide, we will explore the nearby Ostrožac Castle in Cazin. This historic castle, dating back to the 13th century, holds a rich history and fascinating stories. Following the visit to Ostrozac Castel, the group will have the pleasure of indulging in a delightful welcome dinner at a charming local restaurant with a breathtaking view of the city. Please be aware that group flights typically arrive in the early afternoon at either Zagreb International Airport in Croatia or Banja Luka International Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The group will be warmly welcomed upon arrival at the airport and escorted to a comfortable hotel in Cazin. If the group arrives at Sarajevo International Airport or Mostar International Airport (Bosnia and Herzegovina), please get in touch with us to make transportation arrangements.     Following breakfast, the bicycles will be customized to suit each individual's preferences and requirements. Our journey begins in Cazin as we set off on our cycling adventure towards Bosanska Otoka. We embark on a journey, flowing effortlessly through the majestic canyon of the river Una. As we navigate through the stunning canyon, we are accompanied by the flowing river Una and the remnants of the old railroad. Upon arrival in Bosanska Otoka, a delightful lunch awaits at a charming riverside restaurant. In the afternoon, we'll continue our cycling adventure and explore the charming city of Bosanska Krupa. Krupa is renowned for its abundance of river islands, which can be reached via a spacious wooden footbridge. These islands are interconnected by a network of smaller bridges. Every day, the islands offer a range of activities including barbecues, live music, and sports. There's always something happening to keep you entertained.     Our journey begins as we head towards Bihać, where we'll be greeted by stunning forests, lush vegetation, and a diverse array of woodland creatures. Take in the breathtaking panoramic view of Bihać and the stunning Una-Sana region while cycling. Exploring Canton. Bihać is situated alongside the picturesque river Una and boasts a vibrant cultural heritage and a fascinating history. Following our exploration of Bihać, we embarked on a bike ride towards the Sokolac Fortress, a remarkable structure with a rich history dating back to the 14th century. We will be transferred to the Natura Art ethno village, a charming traditional Bosnian village. There, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and take a scenic boat ride on the river Una. Once you've experienced the enchanting Natura Art ethno village, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the Japod Islands. The Una National Park spans across 19,800 hectares and was created with the purpose of preserving the pristine beauty of the rivers Una, Krka, and Unac. Creating a detailed travel plan The stunning Una National Park boasts a plethora of natural wonders, including breathtaking waterfalls, meandering river streams, refreshing pools, exhilarating rapids, and picturesque canyons enveloped by lush forests teeming with vibrant vegetation. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Štrbački buk, one of the most stunning waterfalls in this diverse national park.     Today, we will be embarking on a cycling adventure towards the scenic destination of Martin Brod. In the charming village, you'll find a collection of breathtaking waterfalls, charming traditional water mills, and fascinating ecosystems known as Bučnica, where locals wash their clothes. Discover the breathtaking Milančev buk, a magnificent waterfall that spans an impressive 54 meters. This natural wonder is nestled amidst a picturesque landscape, adorned with a series of enchanting pools and forest. We proceed to Tito's cave in Drvar, a clandestine refuge of the Yugoslavian partisan leader, Tito, during the Second World War. Today, it stands as a museum, preserving the history of that era. Our journey takes us further to Bosansko Grahovo. Immerse yourself in the charm and beauty of a traditional Bosnian village during your stay!     We cycle towards Šator mountain. After 19 kilometers of cycling through the asphalt, you ride on forest paths towards the mountain. Come to Šator mountain and enjoy a traditional Bosnian barbecue lunch while admiring the untouched nature. SPECTACULAR!!! If the weather permits, you will have an unforgettable experience of swimming at Šator Lake, at 1488 meters above sea level, and/or you can join us in hiking to the very top of the mountain (1875 m above sea level) where you can enjoy the view.     Now that the cycling is behind us, we will explore the city of Mostar. The city is known as the pearl of Herzegovina. It is best known for the famous Old Bridge and the Neretva river. Enjoy a walk along the cobblestone streets of Mostar, where the architecture is stunning. The city is a combination of Eastern and Western civilizations with a way of life that reflects its past. Shop for handmade products from the Ottoman Empire and taste some of the best Bosnian-Herzegovinian food the area has to offer. Experience the lively nightlife of the city of Mostar.
