Bosnia and Herzegovina is known as a land of more than 100 hundred lakes, natural and man-made. One of those man-made lakes is Rama Lake, a hidden gem, one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. It is an accumulation lake on the Rama river with a maximum length of 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) and an area of 1,500 hectares (3,706 acres).
The islands and peninsulas give Rama lake an especially unreal beauty, including the most beautiful Šćit island, where the Rama-Šćit 15 century Franciscan Monastery is located, known as the Oasis of peace. The package includes two meals, breakfast and lunch, an overnight stay, kayaking or catamaran, and a professional guide.
