Trip Details

Rejuvenate and recharge your soul, body, and mind for a week by practicing yoga and meditation in the peace of the picture-perfect Boracko glacier lake surrounded by mountains.

Boračko lake is the biggest glacial lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located 405 meters (1,330 feet) above sea level. It is surrounded by dense forests and some of the highest mountains in the country, including Mount. Prenj, Bjelasnica and Visocica. It has natural beaches and walking paths, making it ideal for yoga, swimming, hiking, canoeing or just sunbathing. This tour package includes seven days with a 6-night stay in sustainable and ecology-friendly cabins or houses with daily breakfast, and lunch and is geared towards relaxation, rejuvenation, and enjoyment on the beautiful glacial lake. In addition to practicing yoga, guests can enjoy sunny, spacious beaches and breathtaking views, take a walk-through nature and forests, refresh themselves in the warm and clear water, and enjoy rafting and hiking.

Arrival and accommodation

  • 7:30 am -09:30 am (Morning practice)
  • 10:00 am -14:00 pm (Afternoon activity or free time varies daily)
  • 17:30 pm -19:00 pm (Evening practice)
  • 19:30 pm (Dinner)
  • 20:30 pm (Free time).

Optional: rafting, hiking, sports activities

Itinerary

Day 1-6Practice yoga, swim, hike, or raft in the afternoon and enjoy free time

The Boracko lake ecovillage retreat is suitable for all levels of yogis, from beginners to advanced. It starts with a two-hour class and includes asana practice, breathwork, and guided meditation. The tentative daily schedule is 07:30 am-09:30 am Morning practice, 10:00 am-2 pm Afternoon activity or free time (varies daily), 5:30 pm -7:00 pm Evening practice, 7:30 pm Dinner, 8:30 pm Free time. Afternoon activities include hiking Mount Prenj and rafting on or swimming in the Boracko glacial lake. All activities and classes are optional and are completed with great fun and comfortable socializing.

Day 7End of the tour (Time to say goodbye)

The trip ends this morning after breakfast and return to the airport for departure. Should you wish to spend more time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, please contact our sales team for post-tour packages.
