Blidinje Nature Park is a breathtaking natural reserve in the Dinaric Alps of Bosnia & Herzegovina, covering 358 km² of untouched wilderness, towering peaks, and rich biodiversity.

What Makes Blidinje Special?

Majestic Mountains – Home to Čvrsnica (2,228m) and Vran (2,074m), offering stunning hiking trails and panoramic views. 

Dugo Polje Valley – A vast karst depression, stretching 12 km, surrounded by dramatic landscapes. 

Blidinje Lake – The largest alpine lake in Bosnia, fed by mountain springs and seasonal snowmelt. 

Ancient Forests – Nearly 40% of the park is covered in dense pine forests, including the rare white-bark Bosnian pine

Wildlife Haven – Home to brown bears, chamois, wolves, and over 120 bird species
