Some are natural, others man-made, Bosnia and Herzegovina is home to some of the world’s most stunning lakes. One of those lakes is Balkana lake, a well-known excursion and bathing spot near Mrkonjić town.  It is located at the foot of the Lisine Mountain and is known for its two springs full of fish, which were originally called Balukhana.
